St Lukes FitOne Boise Encourages Health In The Treasure Valley

St. Luke's FitOne Boise, a weekend focused on fitness and health, kicks off this Thursday, September 21st with an expo. Runners can hit the streets in downtown Boise on Saturday, September 23rd, to complete either a 5K, 10K, or half marathon.

There are quite a few fun activities to choose from during FitOne. Here's just a sampling of ideas!

Foam Rolling with Team TRIGGERPOINT Endurance Ambassador Jeff Mutchie

Find out what all the fuss is about with foam rolling on Thursday and Friday from 2pm to 2:30pm at the Boise Centre.

Groovin’ on the Grove ZUMBA Party: Axiom Fitness

From 6pm to 7pm, you'll find a fitness party taking over the Grove Plaza! Dance your way to health with this Latin-inspired workout.

Super Sloppy Joes: Idaho Beef Council

The Idaho Beef Council's Registered Dietitian, Pohley Richey, will demonstrate how to create tasty, and healthy Super Sloppy Joes! On Friday at 1pm, you can also learn nutrition tips and healthy meal prep hacks to make those weeknights even easier.

Learn Hands-Only CPR and Dial Don’t Drive: American Heart Association & St. Luke’s Heart

On Friday, from 11am to 11:55am, you can learn how to save a life thanks to the American Heart Association and St. Luke's Heart. You'll learn how to give CPR in just two simple steps to someone who is experiencing cardiac arrest.
