Relaxed Living And Open Spaces At 3701 Alta Ridge In Boise
It isn't often that you find a .5 acre backyard like the one at 3701 Alta Ridge in Boise. And once you visit this backyard retreat, you might not want to leave. We really wouldn't blame you.
Southeast Boise is in high demand, and it's no wonder. The area offers numerous perks to residents, including easy access to Micron, Lucky Peak, the foothills, and parks. That 3701 Alta Ridge is located in this prime area is just one of the reasons why we love this house.
Step inside the red front door, and your eye is first drawn to the grand staircase that leads up to the second floor. The soaring ceiling creates an open, airy feeling with light pouring in through the numerous windows.
The living room and dining room flow together, creating plenty of space for dinner parties or holidays. Your guests will be able to mix and mingle with room to spare.
To the left of the entryway is the first bedroom. With its first floor location (and a full bath right down the hall), this would be a great spot for visiting guests. Don't need the extra room? Use this spot as a music room or library.
Venture past the bedroom and you'll find the laundry/mudroom next door. This oversized room is great for storing muddy boots on rainy days, or hanging up backpacks so they don't clutter the house. Laundry won't feel so much like a chore when your washing clothes in this bright room.
The laundry/mudroom room is connected to the palatial three-car garage. Garages aren't usually this clean, but this one almost sparkles. Ample storage and a built-in garage bench keeps items off the epoxy floor, meaning your cars and bicycles will easily fit alongside tools and your holiday decorations.
Back inside the house, you'll pass the first floor bathroom on your way to the family room. With built-ins and a gas fireplace, this room is the epitome of comfort. The open floor plan allows for whoever is in the kitchen to be a part of the festivities in the family room. You'll be able to keep an eye on the game or movie while refilling snacks. Fully-wired surround sound in the family room means you'll never miss the cheer of the crowd, or twist of the plot.
The breakfast nook provides a place for informal meals, and abundant storage. Cabinets line one of the walls in the nook, with windows looking out on the spacious backyard lining the others.
In the kitchen, you'll find beautiful black granite slab countertops and stainless steel appliances. The remodeled kitchen features a gorgeous backsplash that you can show off to guests, thanks to the abundance of cabinets and large pantry that provide plenty of space to store your appliances. Place a few stools at the kitchen island, and everyone can chat while prepping meals.
A window leads from the kitchen to the office, making it easy to ask if the person working is ready for dinner or not. This isn't your ordinary "office space." This room measures 200 square feet and has plenty of room to work with a large built-in workspace and storage. It's the ideal spot to finish the details on a work assignment, stretch your imagination with a craft project, or finish up homework.
Make your way up the grand staircase to the second floor, where three of the four bedrooms are located. To your immediate left is a large bedroom that would also be a good option for a playroom. Two other bedrooms share a full bathroom with this bedroom.
The master suite has everything you'll need. A sizable bathroom with dual vanities, a soaker tub, large shower, and water closet. A spacious walk-in closet provides plenty of storage. The master bedroom has a vaulted ceiling and large window that looks over the lush backyard.
Speaking of the lush backyard, you exit the french doors in the kitchen nook to walk out onto the extensive covered patio. The attention to detail continues out here with the fully-wired audio system and stamped concrete. To the right of the patio, the concrete continues to a built-in fire pit. Imagine roasting marshmallows or hot dogs over the open fire, while enjoying quality time with friends and family.
Enjoy a game of HORSE on the sport court, or recapture your childhood on the 14 inch in-ground trampoline.Or perhaps you'd rather dig your hands into the raised garden beds. You can store your tools and supplies in the matching storage shed.
Privacy isn't an issue here. The .5 acre lot creates an air of privacy, and the lack of back neighbors and the spacious side yard promise it. If you ever do need a break from the neighborhood (though we aren't sure you'll be able to leave this backyard), then you can park an RV on the RV pad with water and electricity hook-ups.
