If you haven’t visited the new West Elm in downtown Boise, you don’t know what you’re missing. The modern furniture store opened its first Boise location last summer, but not all Boiseans have visited the furniture hot spot yet.

The modern home furnishings store took the location where Anthropologie was previously located. The chain retailer is based in Brooklyn, New York, but has locations all over the world. The store’s parent company is Williams Sonoma, so if you love shopping the upscale kitchen store, you’ll want to stop by West Elm.

Located on the corner of Idaho Street and 9th Street, the home furnishings store has a spacious spot of over 14,000-square-foot. It’s in an ideal location close to restaurants and other shopping options.

What West Elm Offers

West Elm offers gorgeous decor pieces to warm up your home. This Watercolor Circles Rug would bring a splash of color to any room. If you’re in need of a statement piece, this Edam Swivel Chair would do the job. Or maybe it’s time to upgrade your old recliner with the Rhys Mid-Century Recliner. In search of a great gift? These Fishs Eddy Gilded Word Side Plates are perfect.

That Idahoan Touch

While the store has items ranging from bedding to sofas, it also contains an art installation created from salvaged materials. The materials came from the Simplot’s Caldwell potato storage center renovation. West Elm in downtown Boise also sells products from local creators, like Lost Little Things.

West Elm’s hours are from Monday to Saturday, from 10am to 8pm, and on Sunday, from 11am to 6pm.
