So it’s May. How are your New Year’s resolutions coming along? If you’re like most of us, you’re starting over and calling them your “Getting Ready for Summer” resolutions now. Don’t despair! Strap on that FitBit you got for Christmas and download Ingress to your smartphone.

Ingress isn’t really new, but it is starting to get more attention in Boise. Once you get the app, you have to pick a side. Are you one of the Enlightened who believe that new technology will propel the human race into a better future, or are you one of the Resistance who will fight for the freedom of mankind against a science that wants to control us? Whatever you decide, you will be introduced to a world you didn’t know existed all around you.

Every statue, every memorial, even small pieces of outdoor art you barely acknowledged before holds a portal. Your job, regardless of what team you choose, is to hack and control them. As you make your way throughout certain parts of our city, you collect points and manipulate the game using your smartphone’s GPS.

Load Ingress and watch your FitBit steps add up! Oh, hey, if you see a house you’re curious about while saving the world, give us a call! We’d love to help you find the perfect home.
