What do Balsamic Chicken Lasagna with Creamy Ricotta, Apricot Barbeque Meatballs and Butternut Squash Enchiladas all have in common? Other than making your taste buds water, you can find all of these delicious dishes at A’Tavola Gourmet Marketplace & Café on Grove Street. If you haven’t been there yet, you definitely should go. And if you’ve already been, I have no doubt you’re just dying to go back.

A lot of people who haven’t yet experienced A’Tavola know it as “the place where Donnie Mack’s Trailer Park Cuisine used to be”. But what a transformation that little corner has undergone! The first thing you notice when you drive by is the beautiful curb appeal. The outdoor patio is pleasant and filled with lovely planters, umbrellas, and lots of space to have a quiet table to yourself or a larger table for your friends. Inside, it’s like candy for the senses – good smells, the sounds of an espresso machine and lots of fun gourmet goodies to feast your eyes upon.

Make your way over to the display case to purchase one of their unique dishes by weight or order a sandwich off of the menu – you won’t be disappointed either way. Also be sure to stop by Saturday morning for a cup o’ Joe and a bite of brunch!
A’Tavola is the perfect place for a leisurely lunch date, or to grab something to go! Keep them in mind next time you attend a concert at The Botanical Gardens – as their yummy food will travel!
